We show that Minkowskian non-local quantum field theories are not unitary. consider a simple one loop diagram for scalar and the imaginary part of corresponding complex amplitude is given by Cutkosky rules, indeed this violates unitarity condition. compare result with case an Euclidean field, has been shown to satisfy we clearly identify reason breaking theory.
